Just a memory:

The first Weezer CD I'd ever bought was the Green Album. Everything else I'd downloaded using Morpheus. I remember the week the CD was released. May 2001, sometime. The day I bought it -- it was a Saturday -- I came home, sat down on our matted blanket in the living room [a system Koreans love, although later they always regret using really bright-colored sheets for the floor], turned on Beverly Hills Ninja [there was a Farley marathon on NBC], and listened to the CD while doing geometry homework. I used to watch telly and listen to CDs all the time. I think sometime the following week, Mrs. Fundukian took us to the museum. I miss those Weezer days, back in ninth...

Another:

The Producers. I bought this baby on a Saturday, too. I'd heard more than half the songs [iMesh], but was really amped to own it. I went to my room, threw aside my algebra homework, and sat on the floor, listening to it and reading the little lyric book that came with it. What are those called, anyway? I sound infantile; "little lyric book". Anyway, at some point, my mom poked her head in and asked why I was sitting on the floor, laughing hysterically, facing a blank TV. I'm pretty sure I was listening to "Betrayed".

I wonder what I would be like now if I didn't ever know The Producers. Probably not that different.

"CDs of a past Jinny and today's doings"? Ugh.

I still listen to those two albums on a daily basis. It's kind of odd, really. It's hard to tire of them.
